When ordering the KnowYourDog Genetic & Breed Test you will receive a sample collection kit that includes all the necessary materials to perform a buccal swab on your dog. Please follow the instructions included in the kit to ensure the validity of the sample.

You must then send the samples back to the laboratory in the envelope included in the kit. After receiving your sample, the laboratory will proceed to perform the studies included in the KnowYourDog Genetic & Breed Test according to the version purchased by you.

The results will be available on-line within 4-6 weeks after receiving the samples in the laboratory.
