Are you a vegetarian who might be suffering from intolerance to certain vegan or vegetarian food items? The Vegetarian Food Intolerance Test tests 450 common vegan foods and non-food items to determine what could be causing your symptoms.
The test also includes a comprehensive guide to help you reduce or completely eliminate these triggers from your diet.
The Difference Between an Allergy and an Intolerance
Even though they might be mistaken for one another, an allergy and an intolerance are two different health conditions.
Allergies are more permanent and can stay with the individual for life. On the other hand, intolerances can change over time with lifestyle and diet changes.
Symptoms can be similar, but allergic reactions are usually more severe than intolerances or sensitivities. Exposure to triggers can cause immediate allergic reactions, but it can take 10 minutes to 48 hours for intolerance symptoms to manifest.
How to Test for Food Intolerance
The Vegetarian Food Intolerance Test is simple to carry out and only requires a few of your hair samples, collected from the comfort of your own home.
Unlike tests that require blood or urine samples, hair testing is not affected by food intake and recent stressful activities.
When you place an order for a test, a testing kit, which contains all you need for sample collection, will be sent to your address.
The collection process itself is very easy and straightforward. However, we recommend carefully reading the guidelines below:
- Even though it is not always possible, we encourage you to try to include the root hair when getting your samples.
- If cutting your hair, try to cut it as close to the root as possible.
- The sample only requires a few hair strands (3-4) if your hair is longer than an inch.
- You can use any form of hair, but do NOT use hair from a hair brush or a similar accessory to avoid cross contamination.
- Hair dye or hair treatments will not affect the test results.
Once you have collected your hair sample, place it in a small sealable bag to ensure it remains dry and secure. Do NOT use metal foil or metallic packaging to enclose the sample. Do NOT include other items in the same bag.
After enclosing the sample in a secure bag, place it in an envelope or postage wallet. Finally, send the sample to the address provided.
The results of this test will be available within 2 to 5 working days from the time the laboratory receives the samples.
The Accuracy of Our Intolerance Sensitivity Test
The testing facility that conducts this test is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has completed tests on more than 400,000 samples worldwide. We are regularly audited by independent authorities with fully trained staff and highly qualified scientists who use the very latest equipment and procedures to ensure the utmost accuracy.
The Vegetarian Food Intolerance Test uses the bioresonance equipment called the Mars III (Multiple Analytical resonance Systems), which is manufactured and recognised as a medical scanning device 11a according to ISO EN 13485.
The Limitations of the Vegetarian Food Intolerance Test
The results of this test will ONLY show the vegan/vegetarian items that you have an intolerance level of over 85%. This is the point at which you would expect to experience intolerance symptoms. Items falling below this threshold will NOT be reported.
All the items on the list that display a colour fall within the minimum intolerance level of 85%. Within this parameter, the items are graded as low, medium, or high.
